Well as we all know writing a blog is not that much cumbersome, but it is very difficult to build a successful blog that also attracts a significant traffic. If you are a marketing person or a blogger then this question is very common for you that “how you can increase your blog traffic or where your blog is lacking in terms of traffic?” This may be because the quality of content that you deliver or may be you are not that much aware of other marketing strategies.
So the very first thing you must do is to get involved with people that belong to your niche and try to know what they are doing in order to gain more visitors to their website. And then optimize your content and note that where you were going wrong. I personally did this thing and as a result I received many valuable visits at my blog post and many useful tips that I would like to share with you as well through this short blog post:
Know your targeted audience:
When you know for whom you are writing then I think it will be easy for you to cater them with exactly what they want. Just imagine a scenario where you are writing a typical technical blog for a website who is in the market to deliver a general home product. Then obviously your content will not capture a single view. So be wise and understand the interest of your audience and then share a quality content.
To know your visitor’s interests you can do many things such as you can participate in those communities and groups where you already have seen a remarkable reactions from the readers. And the amazing thing is this that you don’t need to spend much amount to search for the blogs, forums, websites and social media communities where you find contents and discussions of your similar interests. You can easily find them on Google.
Add Social Media Follow Buttons:
This tactic is considered as one of the most effective ways to boost traffic on your website and it also encourages more following on your social media profiles that directly or indirectly reflects your brand success. Hence add all mandatory social media follow buttons to your web pages where you find most of your users are engaged but don’t cram the website with all available social media follow buttons. Include only those buttons that are highly relevant to your business.
Add WordPress Social Sharing Buttons:
Naturally people share only those things that they personally find tempting and additionally simple to share. WordPress social share buttons are there to allow your visitors to distribute your content across their social media profiles with just one click of mouse. But take care of their placing on the website. Position them on a place where they are easily visible and you can also add floating social share buttons.
So this is all from my side if you have any better tips then feel free to drop them here in the comment box below.
